The famous tourist spot Ngong Ping 360 is within walking distance and tourists usually go through Tung Chung on their way to Lantau's other tourist attractions such as Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, etc. The asset enhancement project has leveraged on Fu Tung Plaza's advantages and maximized its potential to make Tung Chung a better place to live. Turnaround Tactic
The first floor of Fu Tung Plaza, with a 24-hour passage with high footfall, is connected by a footbridge to the MTR Tung Chung Station and a neighbouring shopping centre. The re-arrangement of shops increases the retail floor area, and the re-alignment of trade mix brings more shopping choices to customers. Facade treatment with new promotional panel and rejuvenation of the atrium improve the image and ambience of the Plaza.

Completed in 1997, Fu Tung Plaza contains nearly 100,000-sq ft area and around 500 parking spaces. Adjacent to MTR Tung Chung Station, the Plaza has an enviable location that is close to a number of public and private residential estates with a combined population of approximately 60,000 people.
