Project Overview
Chung On Shopping Centre was beautified with its renovation works completed in Feb 2008. Major scope of works included shop front extensions, addition of new shops in the common areas and renovation to atrium in the aim of improving the overall lettable efficiency, shop variety and shopping atmosphere.

Turnaround Tactic
Natural light is directed to the main circulation area of the shopping arcade as a key element to enhance the shopping atmosphere and the newly designed central atrium imposes a lively spatial identity for the shopping centre. The lettable efficiency is further improved by extending the shop frontage into the oversized corridor and creating new shops in idle area.

Shopping Centre Profile
Chung On Shopping Centre was completed in 1996 and comprises a 5-storey retail / carpark building which provides a total of 995 car parking spaces. The centre has a floor area of approximately 83,000 square feet.
