Tai Wo Shopping Centre, a four-storey centrally air-conditioned building situated at the centre of Tai Wo Estate, was completed in 1989 with a lettable area of 13,200 square metres.

It provides 127 stores covering a wide range of trades such as Chinese restaurants, food premises, a supermarket, banking services, electrical applicance stores, convenience stores, and fashion boutiques, in addition to 80 market stalls selling wet and dry goods.

The centre is adjacent to the Tai Wo Railway Station, and served by convenient transport facilities such as a bus terminal, minibus stops and taxi stands located at the ground floor of the centre. Two nearby car parks with 96 hourly parking spaces provide further convenience to shoppers.
