As recognition for our endeavour, we have garnered a number of awards from various organisations, all of which have been motivating us to advance forward.

2010

In July 2010, The Link was awarded Gold Award in the category of "Community Relations" for its project "The Link Fun Academy" and at the same time awarded Silver Award in the category of "Brand Management" for its project "Wong Tai Sin Plaza and Lung Cheung Plaza Asset Enhancement Initiative" in the Ninth China Golden Awards for Excellence in Public Relations (2008-2010) organised by China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA). This recognised the professional and effective performance of The Link in planning and implementing the above projects in 2008-2009. Mr K T Poon, Director (Corporate Communications & Strategy) (right), and Ms Germaine Lui, General Manager - Marketing & Promotion (middle), received the awards in the presentation ceremony held in Beijing.

In March 2010, with its active involvement in encouraging volunteer works, giving and donations, caring for its employee and caring for the environment, The Link was awarded the Caring Company for the third year in a row by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, in recognising the Corporation's performance in fulfilling corporate social responsibility. Ms Vivien Chan, Head of Corporate Communications of The Link (3rd left), receives the award certificate together with the nominators. 2009

In December 2009, The Link REIT won for the fourth year in a row the "Hong Kong Outstanding Enterprises Award" organised by Economic Digest. Mrs Maria Wong, Head of Leasing, receives the trophy from Mr Brian Fung, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Securities Association Ltd.

In November 2009, The Link was presented the CSR Advocate Mark by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, for its participation in HKQAA-HSBC CSR index, demonstrating The Link's commitment and leadership to promote corporate social responsibility. The index, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, provides quantitative performance metrics for measuring the corporate social responsibility performance of organisations in Hong Kong, and comprises performance indicators that track four categories based on ISO 26000 "Guidance on Social Responsibility". Ms Irene Mary Fisher (left), General Manager - Asset Management of The Link, received the CSR Advocate Mark from Ir Prof Peter Mok Kwok-woo, Chairman of Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency.

In October 2009, for the second year in a row, The Link was awarded the Prime Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility 2009, affirming The Link's efforts in supporting the communities. Organised by the Prime Communications Limited and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, the Awards seek to recognise companies' performance in corporate social responsibility. Mr Ian Robins (right), Chief Executive Officer of The Link, was presented the trophy by Mr Mile Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Prime Communications Limited.

In August 2009, 6 shopping centres of The Link were awarded certificates in Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings by the Water Supplies Department. This affirms The Link's quality management in water supply. Mr. David Chan Tsan Fai, Deputy General Manager (Facilities and Contract Management) of The Link (left) received certificate from Mr. Kenneth Chan Sheung Yan, Chairman of Working Group on Quality of Water in Buildings, ACQWS.

In July 2009, The Link Real Estate Investment Trust 2008 was awarded the Photography Award in the 23rd ARC Awards for its Annual Report by MerComm, Inc. of the United States. The Award is now the largest international award honoring excellence in annual reports.

In June 2009, The Link has been nominated to receive a Special Merit Award at the Donor Award Ceremony of Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service. This is to recognize The Link's support to the blood donation recruitment of the Service. Ms Angela Chiu, District General Manager - Asset Management of The Link, received the Special Merit Award from Mr Ambrose Lee Siu-kwong, Secretary for Security.

In June 2009, The Link was awarded three awards by the Construction Innovation Award organized by Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers for its rejuvenation project of Wong Tai Sin Cooked Food Stall. The three awards include the Best Sustainable Community Award, the Distinguished Revitalization Project Award and the Best Presentation Award. Mr Nicholas Sallnow-Smith, Chairman of The Link, together with two tenant representatives of Wong Tai Sin Cooked Food Stall, received the Best Sustainable Community Award from Mrs Carrie Lam, Secretary for Development.

In June 2009, Prime Communications Limited and Business Environmental Council presented to The Link the "Prime Awards for Eco-Business" in recognition of its contribution to the environment. Mr Chiu-ying Lam, Chairman of Hong Kong Meteorological Society (right) presents the Award to Ms Peionie Kong, The Link General Manager - Asset Management.

In May 2009, The Link Real Estate Investment Trust 2008 was presented the Photography Award in the 19th Astrid Awards for its Annual Report by MerComm, Inc. of the United States. The Astrid Award is a testimonial to the skills of design team in commercial communications.

In April 2009, International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) has announced results for the 38th annual ICSC MAXI Awards. It presented the Silver Award in the Community Relations Category of the MAXI Awards to The Link for its corporate citizenship project - "The Link Fun Academy", in recognizing The Link's marketing excellence in its shopping centres. ICSC is a global trade association of the shopping centre industry and its MAXI Awards has been organizing annually since 1972.

In March 2009, The Link REIT was presented the Hong Kong Service Awards 2009 in the Real Estate Investment Trust category organised by East Week, as recognition for its outstanding asset enhancement work for the shopping centres. The Hon Jeffrey Lam Kin-Fung, Legislative Council Member (right) presents the award trophy to Mr Wellman Wong, The Link District General Manager - Asset Management.

In March 2009, The Link Real Estate Investment Trust 2008 Annual Report was recognized as a double winner in the International Mercury Awards 2008/09, garnering both the Gold Award in Overall Presentation in the category of Holdings & Property Development and the Silver Award in the category of Design: Annual Report Covers - Place, Products and Things. Organized by MerComm, Inc. of the United States, the Mercury Awards are an annual showcase of the world's best achievements in public relations and corporate communications.

In February 2009, Metro Finance Radio presented to The Link "Excellent Brand of Carpark Services Management" award in "Hong Kong Leading Enterprise Brand Election 2009", in recognition of its performance in carpark management. Mr Charles Hui, Deputy General Manager (Carpark and Management Support) (right), receives the award trophy from Mr Anthony Wu, Chairman of Hospital Authority.

In February 2009, with our active participation in community activities and ardent support of charitable causes, we were named the Caring Company again by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, recognising our strong performance in corporate citizenship. Ms Germaine Lui, General Manager - Marketing and Promotion, The Link Management (middle) receives the award certificate from Mr Bernard Chan, Chairperson of Hong Kong Council of Social Service (2nd Left).

In January 2009, Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the Chinese Manufacturers' Association presented the "Emerging Service Brand Award" to The Link in recognition of its outstanding performance as a service brand. Mr Ian Robins, Chief Executive Officer (right), receives the award trophy from Mr Eddy Chan, JP, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology.

2008

In December 2008, The Link REIT won for the third year in a row the "Hong Kong Outstanding Enterprises Award" organised by Economic Digest magazine. Ms Rachel Miu, Head of Corporate Communications receives the trophy from Legislative Council Member Dr Hon Samson Tam Wai-ho.

In November 2008, The Link was presented the first "HKIM Brand-with-a-Conscience Award" by Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), in recognition of its success in obtaining a good standard in the "Six Principles of Business Conscience", covering areas including business ethics, corporate governance, fair trade and business practices, caring work environment, environmental care and community care.

We were presented in October 2008 the Prime Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility 2008 for our two corporate citizenship programmes - "The Link Fun Academy" and "The Link Tenant Academy". The award, organised by the Prime Communications Limited and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, recognises the Link's efforts in supporting the communities. Mr. Cheung Kin Fat, Head of Mall Merchandizing (right) receives the trophy on behalf of The Link.

We were named the Gold Award winner in the marketing category of the first "Asia Shopping Centre Awards" for our corporate citizenship project "The Link Fun Academy" in October 2008. Organised by International Council of Shopping Centers, this award is an affirmation of our efforts in supporting the community through activities at our shopping centres. Mr. Ian Robins, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Lam Lit Kwan, Director - Asset Management, (second and third from right) receive the award trophy on behalf of the company.

As recognition of the effort made in assisting the Police in crime prevention, The Link was presented "The Best Partner Award" for the year by the Kowloon East Police Regional Headquarters in October. Mr Charles Hui, Deputy General Manager - Carpark & Management Support (right), receives the award on behalf of the company.

We won the "Hong Kong Enterprise Environmental Achievement Award", organised by Hong Kong Environmental Protection Association, in recognition of our contribution to environmental protection. Mr Ross O'Toole, Chief Operating Officer (right), receives the award from Legislative Council Member Ms Choy So Yuk on behalf of the Company.

As recognition for its outstanding achievement in boosting the economic vibrancy, The Link REIT was presented the Hong Kong Service Award in the Real Estate Investment Trust category organised by East Week in March 2008. Mr Ian Robins, Chief Executive Officer of The Link Management (right), receives the award from media veteran Mr Heung Shu-fai.

The Link Real Estate Investment Trust Annual Report 2007 garnered award in the category "Design: Annual Report Cover - Places, Products, Things" of the 2007/08 International Mercury Awards. The Awards was organised by MerComm, Inc. in the United States with an aim to honour excellence in public relations and corporate communications. Over 970 entries from 23 countries and regions have been received this year.

Our Chung Fu Shopping Centre won the highest honour in The Second Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Awards - Grand Award of the "Commercial Buildings: Common Areas" and "Residential Buildings: Common Areas" categories. Ms Cissy Tsang Yuk Ying, General Manager (Portfolio Management) of The Link (second from left), and the management team of Chung Fu, receive the trophy from Secretary for the Environment Mr Edward Yau Tang-wah JP (Centre). Eight of The Link's properties, including Chung Fu Shopping Centre, garnered nine awards in the competition.

We were named the Caring Company by The Hong Kong Council of Social Services in February 2008 for our commitment to good corporate citizenship. Director (Portfolio Management) Ms LK Lam (second from right) and Marketing & Promotion Manager Ms Germaine Lui (first from right) represented the Company to receive the certificate.

2007

We were presented the Outstanding Corporate Strategy Award by East Week in October 2007 for the pursuance of effective business strategies to enhance performance and create value. Mr Victor So, former Chief Executive Officer, receives the award from Ms Judy Inn, Executive Director of Sing Tao News Corporation Group.

The Link REIT garnered its second "Hong Kong Outstanding Enterprises Award" organised by Economic Digest magazine. Ms Rachel Miu, Head of Corporate Communications (left) receives the trophy from Mr Henry Wu, Honorary Permanent President, Hong Kong Stockbrokers Association.



2006

The Link REIT was voted the "Best Newly Listed Company in Asia" in the Asia's Best Managed Companies 2006 survey conducted by renowned financial magazine Euromoney. Mr Victor So (right) receives the award from Euromoney's deputy publisher Mr Mike Carrodus.

In recognition for our efforts in building a better society, we were presented with the "Devoted Sponsorship and Promotion Award" by the Social Welfare Department. Mr Victor So (left) receives the award from Mr Cheung Kin-fai, Chairperson of The Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities.

We have obtained the "Hong Kong Outstanding Enterprises Award" organised by Economic Digest magazine. Ms Rachel Miu, Head of Corporate Communications (right), receives the award from Prof Hon Patrick Lau, Legislative Council Member who officiates at the presentation ceremony.

The issue of Guaranteed Notes in August 2006 was named "Best Hong Kong Dollar Bond" in the Asia Awards 2006 organised by leading financial journal, EuroWeek.

2005

The Link REIT's Initial public offering was named "Best Hong Kong Deal" and "Best REIT Deal" by Finance Asia.
