Legal Counsel (3-year contract)(Ref no.: L10/07-140)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze and provide legal advice on business and operation of the Group
- Maintain close communication with other operational departments to monitor the needs for legal services and update executives on legal and regulatory developments
- Approve and review legal documents for the group such as tenancies, construction contracts and other commercial documents
- Monitor and process contentious property and tenancy related matters, including distraint actions, recovery of possession, property management and tenancy-related disputes
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects and assignments from senior management
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong
- 8 to 10 years post-qualification experience with strong property, conveyancing and commercial experience
- Relevant experience in handling tenancies, licences and property matters will be an asset
- Experience in property litigation will be an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Work independently and also a good team playe
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese & English
Remuneration
We offer 5-day work week and attractive remuneration package to the right candidates. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and working experience.
