Tai Wo Plaza
The asset enhancement of Tai Wo Plaza, which started in the first quarter of 2007, was completed at the end of 2009. The works in the initial stage included converting the anchor shop into a book store and F&B outlets. Balcony corridors were also transformed into air-conditioned shopping areas, which has greatly improved the ambience and appearance of the shopping centre. Renovation of other areas in subsequent stages has included the refurbishment of the atrium at the West Wing outside Tai Wo MTR Station, interior upgrades and repartitioning of shops, and refurbishment of the footbridge connecting the West Wing and East Wing.
