Question
When was The Link Management established?
Answer
The Link Management was incorporated in February 2004. As at 31 March 2011, the portfolio consists of properties with an internal floor area (“IFA”) of approximately 11 million square feet of retail space and approximately 80,000 car park spaces. The Link REIT was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on 25 November 2005, as part of a divestment exercise by HKHA. 100% of the units of The Link REIT were sold at the Initial Global Offering. The Link Management has since changed from a HKHA's subsidiary to the manager and a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Link REIT. The Link REIT beneficially owns the divested properties and boasts a sizeable unitholder base comprising solely private investors.
